Greg Murrow is a leading building code specialist with nearly three decades of building surveying experience. He holds peak registration as an A1 Unrestricted Building Surveyor with the NSW Building Commission, alongside Level 1 Accredited Membership with the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS).

Following a distinguished career navigating complex regulatory environments, Greg founded Murrow Consulting in 2015 before co-founding Murrow Consulting Group alongside Ben Murrow.

Greg is also an accomplished Access Consultant. As an Associate Member of the Access Consultants Association (ACA), he pairs his formal qualifications in the field with extensive experience to provide measured accessibility assessments and audits. Greg is also an established BCA fire safety defects expert witness, bringing a litigation-tested understanding of the BCA/NCC to all matters.

Approachable and responsive, Greg combines a keen attention to detail with an effective communication style. He excels at breaking down complex regulatory and compliance challenges with clear, straightforward insights for clients and project stakeholders.

Ben Murrow has over 17 years of building regulations experience across both local government and the private sector. He holds the highest tier of registration as an A1 Unrestricted Building Surveyor with the NSW Building Commission, alongside Level 1 Accredited Membership with the AIBS. Ben delivers practical BCA, access, and passive fire compliance expertise across NSW and beyond.

Throughout his career, Ben has evaluated building code and access compliance across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, government, industrial, retail, and residential developments. He has a proven track record partnering with Tier-1 builders and major institutional clients, advising on a comprehensive project footprint that ranges from complex, large-scale structures to detailed internal commercial fit-outs.

Drawing on an extensive background as a Private Certifier, Ben understands the certification and approval process intimately. He possesses a deep understanding of the BCA/NCC and the Disability (Access to Premises – Buildings) Standards. Furthermore, his technical expertise in tested systems has established him as a specialist in passive fire compliance and bounding construction auditing.

In 2026, Ben co-founded Murrow Consulting Group alongside Greg Murrow, driving the firm's multi-discipline ambition, growth, and strategic direction.
